Cinnamon Raisin Bread, slices 4 each
Eggs 2 each
Milk 2 tablespoons
Vanilla 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon, Ground 1/4 teaspoon
Butter 2 tablespoons
Gather all of your ingredients to make your homemade french toast.
In a shallow bowl, combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla. Whip together with a fork until well mixed.
Slice your bakery bread to your desired thickness.
Heat your pan on a medium temperature. Spray pan with cooking spray or use a small pat of butter to cook the french toast in.
Taking one slice at a time, place the bread into the egg mixture for a few seconds. Flip bread over and let the bread sit for a few more seconds.
Carefully, place the egg covered bread into the hot pan and brown on both sides. I like to gently pat the bread with a spatula so you will get even brown color on your toast. Cooking times vary but should be 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
Once done, place french toast on a serving plate and continue cooking until all done.
Top with your favorite topping.
