2 cups all purpose flour
1tsp salt
1tbsp sugar
6tbsp butter
6tbsp shortening
6-8tbsp of ice water
5 Tart Apples
1 cup sugar
2tbsp flour
1/2tsp cinnamon
1/4tsp salt
1tsp vinegar
1tbsp lemon juice
Dived dough into 2 equal halves. Roll to 18" thick
Soak cut apples in water and lemon juice
mix cut apples with filling
Roll dough to 1/8" thick
poke holes in bottom of pie
add apples mixed with filling
add top to pie and crimp edges
wrap pie crust edges with foil
bake 50-60 minutes at 400 degrees
**place tray under pie pan to catch spillage during baking
